PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Steve Snider, Inc. was the first general contractor to finish out an apartment at The Mansion Residences.
The construction integrated a high tech water detection design, security, and a sub-floor with electrical and HVAC systems, similar to high rise office buildings.
The 6000 sq. ft. concrete shell and the required sub-floor enabled us to create several different floor heights and make the apartment look and feel like the clients’ former home. Equally important was the custom-built pickled cabinetry and trim throughout the apartment which was a style synonymous with the late Earl Hart Miller, who designed the owner’s previous home.
In 2005, new owners of the apartment asked us to remodel several rooms, including the conversion of an office into a walk-in teak wine cellar with a custom cooling cabinet and backlit wine racks.
